You qualify Last awarded in 2023. Four bidders; winner and high bid shown. |
Flag on the play. Two bid sites listed the TARC contract as closing November 6. The agency's own notice shows that was only when the advance notice came down. Proposals are not due until about January 15. The second and third rows are examples of how entries look.
A list tells you what's out there. A scouting report tells you what to do.
Bid services sell long lists across whole states. A small crew does not need more bids. It needs the three nearby ones worth a Saturday spent on paperwork.
- 1Only near youWe measure real drive time from your shop to every job site. If you can't reach it, you never see it.
- 2Can you bid it?We check each bid against your insurance, bonding, licenses and certifications. You get a call: you qualify, check first, or pass.
- 3What won last timeBid results are public. We match them to new bids so you see how many companies bid and what the winner charged.
- 4Deadlines from the sourceEvery date and amendment is checked against the agency's own posting, not copied from another bid site.
- 5Early looksWhen a contract near you is coming up for renewal, you hear about it months before it posts.
Your area.
Not the whole map.
A crew in Louisville can't clean a courthouse in Mobile. So you tell us where your shop is and how far you'll drive, and that is the only area we report on. Pick a drive time or a list of counties.
We map every site in a contract. If a grounds job covers fourteen schools and two are outside your area, the report says so. Your area can cross state lines, so a Louisville crew sees southern Indiana too.
We start with janitorial, landscaping and grounds, and HVAC and plumbing maintenance: the work every courthouse, school and transit garage buys every year.
One price. One trade.
One public contract pays for years of this. Free through December, cancel anytime, two months free when you pay yearly.
Your trade and the related work that comes with it, within the drive time you choose from your shop. Morning reports, the qualify call, verified deadlines, amendment alerts, past winning prices, early looks at renewals, and a bid checklist and cover letter for any bid you pick.
Start freeJanitorial: custodial, day porter, floor and carpet care, window cleaning.
Grounds: mowing, landscaping, tree work, snow and ice removal, irrigation.
HVAC and plumbing: HVAC maintenance and repair, plumbing, boilers, chillers and refrigeration.
Optional: Bid Prep, $149 per bid. Found one you want? We assemble the forms, fill in your company details and flag anything missing. You review, price, sign and submit.
Questions
Where do the bids come from?
Official sources: SAM.gov for federal work, each state's purchasing portal, and the websites and bid platforms of cities, counties, school districts, transit agencies, housing authorities and utilities near you. Every entry links to the official posting.
Do you submit bids for me?
No. We find the bids, check whether you qualify and show what the work sold for last time. With Bid Prep we put the paperwork together, but you set your price, sign and submit.
What happens after the free period?
In January we ask if you want to keep it. If you do, it's $59.99 per month. If not, you stop getting reports. No card is needed to start.
What if nothing matches on a given day?
Then we don't email you. You hear from us when there is a bid worth your time, plus a short weekly summary of awards and prices in your area.
Is this connected to the SEC?
No. We just cover the same part of the country. BidSweep is not affiliated with any athletic conference, team or university.
